Explore life beneath the waves as our naturalists guide you on an interpretive snorkel over one of Maui’s pristine coral reefs. Examine the living communities of fish, coral, and algae, and witness the interdependencies of one species to the next. Underwater digital cameras allow you to capture these images and create your own slideshow to share with friends and family back home.

Did you know that Butterfly fish pair for life? Come explore the underwater love stories of Maui’s coral reef as a naturalist guides you through a sea creature’s version of a love connection.
MAUNALEI MAGIC

Guests venture into Maunalei Arboretum for a first-hand look at Maui’s forested uplands above Kapalua Resort. Trained hike leaders share their knowledge of Hawaii’s natural and cultural history while they interpret the geological formation and the biological speciation of the Hawaiian Islands. Guests also experience a cultural perspective as they are told of life in old Hawaii, and how the native people learned to thrive in harmony with nature.
MALAMA KE KAI
‘Caring for the Ocean’

Snorkel along Kapalua Bay’s pristine coral reef as a marine biologist while observing marine fish populations. Through fun and easy scientific techniques you will visit a fragile underwater ecosystem and help to protect the ocean for future generations.
All adventures include an educational orientation,
equipment, transportation and light refreshments.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made 24 hours in
advance of program or a fifty-percent charge will apply.
