The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, in Northern California, offers a world-class tennis experience to our guests, with six lighted tennis courts and high-quality tennis instruction and programming. Included in your resort fee are tennis amenities such as court reservations, tennis rackets, tennis balls, and usage of the ball machine. Private lessons, group clinics, and organized corporate events are available for an additional fee. We also provide complimentary player matching for players of all levels, drawing from our extensive local tennis playing community.

Private Lessons

A private lesson is a unique experience designed to help you achieve your best on court. Our tennis professional will help you understand the game of tennis by using a variety of methods, drills and challenges to assist you in overcoming any hurdles. There is an additional fee for Private Lessons and advanced reservations are required.

Daily Clinic

Our clinics are designed to encourage students to be their own coach. With this in mind, our tennis pros encourage students to learn new and exciting concepts, and practice them in a progressive environment. Practical drills will be implemented and progressive games will apply in this hour and a half skill session. There is an additional fee for Daily Clinics and advanced reservations are required.

Doubles Mixer

Our Doubles Mixer program is a chance for Colony Club members, Resort guests and local tennis players to enjoy a social afternoon of tennis. Players will rotate courts and switch partners. Our tennis pros will encourage and organize teams, as well as use a variety of formats to keep things interesting.
