Surf Experience

Learn how to surf in true Southern California style with an expert surf instructor this summer. Communicated in a way that will make surfing accessible to everyone, beginners will enjoy the thoroughness of the lesson, while experienced surfers will love the personal coaching. The Surf Experience includes transportation to and from the surf spot, a 1.5-hour lesson, all equipment, and more.

Enjoy personalized beach services and a relaxing day at Salt Creek Beach. Beach Butler services include setting up beach chairs, umbrellas, and transportation down to the beach. The Butlers are fully equipped with towels, sunscreen, and after sun lotion.

Plunge into the alien world of squid and octopus, exploring their unique adaptations and incredible behaviors. We invite you to become a scientist for the day in our interactive squid lab, where you will dissect a squid with guidance from our expert Naturalists. Show off your art skills and watch an upcycled art project come to life under the supervision of our expert Naturalists. Choose from several different art projects focused on the ocean and the environmental impact we have on it. We talk about sustainability and leave no trace behind while we incorporate recycled and upcycled materials to create amazing souvenir art pieces.

Koi Ponds

Children and adults alike can enjoy watching several colorful Koi swim in the ponds around the resort. Koi fish are a special breed of carp that are affectionately known as living jewels or swimming flowers. Although Koi come in many different shapes and colors, they are all unique and there are never two that look exactly the same.

The rolling green hills of the golf course contrast with the vast blue of the ocean and the white sands of the beach, beautiful enough to distract any player from the game at hand. While there are a number of top golf courses within 30 miles of our Southern California resort in Laguna Niguel, many guests choose to play at the adjacent Monarch Beach Golf Links. One of the few ocean courses in the area, Monarch Beach offers a Scottish links-style golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. that presents players with both a variety of holes and sweeping sea views.
