• Our dress code is an important tradition. We appreciate that guests are dressed smart casual at all times.


• Food and beverage presentations are available after check-in and before check-out on the arrival and departure date.


• During your stay with us, should you have visitors, we also warmly welcome them to enjoy the exclusive surroundings of the Club Lounge. However, should they avail themselves to refreshments, a charge of RMB 250 + prevailing taxes (RMB 291.50 nett) per meal will be applied for this privilege.


• Children under the age of 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times and daily lounge offerings/access is available for children until 7.00 p.m. only. RMB 160 + prevailing taxes (RMB 186.56 nett) is applicable for children between the age of 7 to 12.


• Daily breakfast and food and beverages presentations are inclusive at the Club Lounge; consumption of In-Room Dining and other restaurants is at a separate charge.

Tracing Family Roots

Through a conversation with a special family of guests, our Guest Relations team had learnt that their new guests were overseas Chinese who have been living in different countries for decades and they had chosen The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou for their reunion. Inspired and touched by their story, our Guest Relations team and the Club Lounge carefully crafted an album of postcards with themes of Old Guangzhou.

However, the characters on the postcards were too tiny to legible and so, the introductions on the card were hand copied with their English translations attached on the back. To make the reunion even more memorable, the Ritz-Carlton team even prepared customized gifts for the guests’ grandchildren who were visiting Guangzhou for the first time. These cards and gifts, along with a touching farewell letter, were placed outside the door of the eldest guest as a surprise.

The whole family were so moved by the sincerity of The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou and ended their stay with amazing memories to cherish for the rest of their lives.
