Galaxea Dive Center

Encompassing an archipelago of more than 90 untouched islands and surrounded by the world’s fourth-largest barrier reef, the Red Sea is an environment like no other. Its nearly 11,000 square miles offer an opportunity for once-in-a-lifetime encounters with hundreds of species of fish, technicolor corals, endangered hawksbill turtles, dolphins, stingrays and an abundance of other marine life. Led by the experts at Galaxea Dive Center, guests of all ages and levels can learn how to dive, earn a certification and explore the depths of the sea through heritage, conservation and other diving excursions.

Conservation House

A space to expand knowledge and community, the Conservation House is a bridge to Saudi Arabia’s marine life, history and heritage. Through hands-on activities hosted by resident sustainability, nature, astronomy and cultural experts, guests of all ages develop a deep connection with the destination. Set within an indoor-outdoor pavilion crafted with natural materials, the Conservation House features ample space for creative pursuits, a pantry, a boutique and multiple lounge areas.

Nujuma Experts - Bakhour

For Young Adventurers

Set between the sea and the stars and home to a diverse collection of plants and wildlife, Nujuma is a natural playground for young explorers. In the Kids and Teens Club, guests are invited to connect with the regional culture, history and terrain through expert-led programs and interactive activities.

Sea Exploration

Non-motorized water activities allow guests to explore the surrounding reef and its vibrant sea life with minimal impact. Glide around the Ummahat Islands atop a standup paddleboard, crystal kayak or catamaran, or venture below the water’s surface on a diving or snorkeling excursion to come face-to-face with colorful fish and other marine life.

Land Adventures

Saudi Arabia is known for its majestic desert, but its landscape offers more than golden sands. Explore the volcanic fields of Harray Lunayyir, hike to hidden petroglyphs and archaeological treasures in Dumat al-Jandal or try to catch a glimpse of an endangered sooty falcon or crab plover among the preserved mangroves.

Exploring the World Above

The stars guided nomads as they explored the Arabian desert and seas, and their skills and stories have endured for generations. Today, the star-filled sky above the Red Sea is a vital part of the Nujuma experience. Led by our resident astronomy expert, who marries his passion for stargazing and storytelling, guests are introduced to a whole new world where tradition, science and mystery come together.

Visitors to our Conservation House will find our resident cultural ambassador on hand. An expert in Hijazi culture, they share their passion for music, arts and history through a curated calendar of events and visiting artists and musicians.

Your Nature Guide at Nujuma

Our resident naturalist helps guests of all ages discover the wildlife and ecosystems native to Saudi Arabia. Through guided experiences, guests get to know the destination and understand the importance of conservation for generations to come.
