Furry Companions are Welcome at Bacara
We are delighted to welcome pets weighing 50 pounds or less at our one and two bedroom Santa Barbara suites. The resort assesses a $250 USD per stay pet fee and a $50 USD for each additional. The pet fee covers the cost of deep cleaning the room in preparation of the next guest's arrival. is non-refundable and will be charged to your room prior to check-out. The following items constitute our pet policy:
No more than two pets may occupy each guest room
Pet owners are fully responsible for their pet's behavior. The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara reserves the right to remove the pet from the hotel should the pet continue to bark or disturb our guests
For the safety of your pet and our staff, your pet must be out of the room or kenneled during housekeeping services
Room balconies should not take the place of a waste area. Violations of this policy will necessitate off-premises boarding.
We regret that pets are not allowed in the resort's restaurants, fitness center, spa, pool areas or the club lounge. This exclusion does not apply to guide or service animals. Leashed dogs are allowed to dine on The Bistro outdoor patio, 'O' Bar + Kitchen outdoor terrace and Caffe terrace only.
The pet owner shall be held responsible for any cleaning and repair costs incurred.
Pets (aside from Service Animals) are not allowed at the Pool at any time.

Daily Enhanced High-Speed Internet Access
Daily one hour access to private, professional grade clay tennis courts, including rackets, tennis ball machine use, and 30-minute tennis clinic with pro for 2 guests (open daily 8am to 4pm.)
Ambassadors of the Environment certified host Guided Eco-Hike Tour for 2 guests daily. Tours take place at 9:30am daily (weather permitting).
Electric bike rentals, available from 9:00am - 7:00pm daily for 2 guests for 2 hours (waiver required) at Concierge Desk, rentals include helmet and bike lock.
Guided beach walk by Ambassadors of the Environment certified instructor for 2 guests, daily at 3:00pm (weather permitting)
Daily one hour yoga class for 2 people, yoga mat provided, class led by certified instructor. Yoga class is daily at 8:00am.
Transportation to Sandpiper golf course for 2 guests daily (excludes reservations made within a group block)
Daily Aqua Aerobics class led by a certified instructor, daily at 10:15am for 2 guests.
